Park and was officially opened in 1962 by His Royal Highness,
the Duke of Gloucester.
Tsavo West National Park, the second
largest park in Kenya, is home to 61 species of large mammals
including large carnivores, elephant and rhino. In addition
to mammals, the park has a record 600 species of birds.
